Office Building Fire in Meadowbrook / Allendale Area

The cause was ruled as accidental by HFD Arson Investigators.

|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire and smoke coming from a 1-story office building. An offensive attack was conducted, and a primary search was initiated. Crews found the interior to be subdivided with interior walls that created difficulty in finding the seat of the fire. A wall was cut through to gain access to the area of origin. The fire was controlled, and the building was ventilated. The utilities were secured due to power lines falling on the building. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 23, 20, 26, 29, 36, 52, 61, 17 and 24 responded to this incident.
