The Independent Insurance Agents of Houston (IIAH), will announce their recipient(s) of the 2016 Firefighter of the Year from (4) four Houston Department station crews finalists.

This is the 39th year IIAH has worked in conjunction with HFD to recognize the commitment of firefighters and paramedics who have gone far above the call of duty when emergency situations arise. The 2016 recipient(s) will be honored during the luncheon and will be presented with a plaque and cash awards. Fire Chief Samuel Peña, and other department dignitaries, will be attending the luncheon to assist with the presentation.
