The Independent Insurance Agents of Houston (IIAH), will announce their recipient(s) of the 2017 Firefighter of the Year during their Annual Luncheon.

This is the 40th year IIAH has worked in conjunction with HFD to recognize the commitment of firefighters and paramedics who have gone far above the call of duty when emergency situations arise. The 2016 recipient(s) will be honored during the luncheon and will be presented with a special award. Fire Chief Samuel Peña, and other department dignitaries, will be attending the luncheon to assist with the presentation.
