Dispatch advised that they were getting multiple calls and once Engine 86 arrived on scene they reported fire coming from the first and second floor of a 2-story apartment complex.
A second alarm was requested for a possible trapped individual, however a subsequent primary and secondary search found no one trapped inside the apartment building. A 3rd alarm was requested for additional manpower, however most of the units were returned to service.
According to the chief on scene, personnel secured two separate water supply sources and did a great job, considering the head start the fire had.
"[Everyone] performed well especially since the fire had already spread into the 3rd and 4th units when Engine 86 arrived on location and likewise the limited access to get apparatus/crews to the fire building which was 30-40 yards off Windchase."
The American Red Cross was also notified to assist the displaced residents.
