Firefighters were dispatched to an automatic alarm in a barbecue restaurant in a food court at the airport terminal. They arrived on scene to find light smoke on the first floor and smoke coming from ventilation ports outside the building. The fire was extinguished quickly with no extension found. The fire appeared to have been in an exhaust system coming from two restaurants. Although no damage was found inside the restaurants they were notified they would need to stay closed until a health inspector could ensure it was safe. A fire watch was posted for about an hour and no further fire was detected. Crews from Stations 31, 34, 54, 102, 56, 63, 64, 74, 84 and 15 responded to this incident.
