HOUSTON FD and ATF HOST PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGN FOR July 4th

The Houston Fire Department (HFD) and the Houston Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are hosting a 4th of July public awareness event for media. As part of this event, a live demonstration will be held on Monday, July 3rd, 2017. The demonstration will feature a detonation of M-80’s. Experts from ATF and HFD will discuss the legalities and dangers of fireworks and related explosives. Spanish speakers will be available.
