Houston Fire Chief Samuel Peña to assist in proclamation presentation to KBR, Inc. for their continued support of not only the City of Houston, but also the Houston Fire Department.

KBR, Inc. is a global technology, engineering, procurement and construction company serving the hydrocarbons and government services industries. Today, Houston remains KBR’s global headquarters and over 3,000 KBR employees live and work in the Houston area.
To further enhance its long-time support for the Houston Fire Department, in 2016 KBR made a $100 thousand donation to the Houston Fire Department towards the purchase of new and innovative safety equipment for firefighter. This new equipment will assist firefighters in deploying an aggressive fire attack, while allowing firefighters to remove themselves from harm’s way. This year KBR donated $75,000 towards the HFD’s community outreach in an effort to support Houston Firefighters and reduce fire related deaths. KBR’s commitment to spread their ZERO HARM initiative to Houston firefighters and the citizens they serve, is a tribute to their corporate-social responsibility.
