House Fire in Willow Meadows / Willowbend Area

Firefighters prevented spread of the fire to nearby structures.

The cause is under investigation by HFD Arson.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy smoke coming from the roof of a home and began a offensive attack on the fire. Crews ventilated the roof and fire began pushing through the vent hole while crews were inside attempting to extinguish the flames. A power line was also down in the back yard with a transformer on fire.
A primary search was completed with no victims found, all residents had safely escaped. Firefighters worked to protect nearby structures. HFD Arson was requested to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
Crews from Stations 82, 46, 21, 33, 37, 46, 48, 59 and 24 responded to this incident.
