Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a one-story home and began an offensive attack. A primary search was completed and the roof was ventilated. One occupant had exited the home prior to HFD's arrival with a minor injury. The fire was declared under control and crews conducted salvage and overhaul. An outdoor heater was being used to heat the house while it was being remodeled and had caught the plywood floor on fire, extending to the attic space. Crews from Stations 39, 15, 45, 32, 34, 43, 56 and 30 responded to this incident.
