PROPERTY SAVED:
$60 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE:
$40 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE:
Unintentional – Unattended Cooking
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a small one-story house. Crews stretched a handline into the home and extinguished the fire. The occupant reported he was cooking and fell asleep. Firefighters from Stations 32, 39, 43, 56 and 34 responded to this incident.
