House Fire in the Greater Fifth Ward Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with fire coming from the side of a small one-story home. The residents had safely exited the home prior to HFDs arrival. The crews began an offensive attack on the fire and ventilated the home. The fire was extinguished without incident. A pot of grease had been left heating on the stove and caught a wall on fire. Firefighters from Stations 19, 34, 12, 39 and 30 responded to this incident.
