House Fire in The Sunnyside Area

The cause was ruled as incendiary by HFD Arson investigators.
|
|
|
Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke coming from a 1-story home and found a fire on the front porch area. A primary search was completed and the home was ventilated. The fire was extinguished and contained to the exterior house wall of the enclosed porch area with minimal extension into the attic area. The home was vacant with no utilities. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fire. Crews from Stations 35, 26, 46, 24 and 55 responded to this incident.
