Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a small one-story home. Crews found smoldering insulation around an exposed junction box with burnt wires. The structural wood in the attic was also charred and smoldering. They extinguished the fire and the owner stated they would have an electrician correct the issues before the power was turned back on. They were also advised to have a professional look at the structural wood damaged by the fire. Firefighters from Stations 5, 4, 50, 56 and 77 responded to this incident.
