House Fire in The South Park Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the side of a house. A small fire was found in the exterior wall around the meter box. The electrical wire coming from the bottom of the breaker box shorted out and caught the exterior wall stud on fire. The fire was extinguished and contained to that area. Crews cleared smoke from the house with a fan and the electrical company was contacted. Firefighters from Stations 26 and 46 responded to this incident.
