PROPERTY SAVED:
$70 thousand in estimated property saved
DAMAGE:
$75 thousand in estimated damage
CAUSE:
The cause was ruled accidental by HFD Arson investigators
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene with fire coming from the side and roof of a house. Crews pulled the ceiling and attacked the fire through the attic space. A primary search was completed with the residents safely outside. They reported hearing a loud explosion and then seeing the fire. The fire was in a small shed on the side of the house and spread to the home. Firefighters extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 93, 23, 71, 52, 70, 94 and 61 responded to this incident.
