House Fire in The Greater Fifth Ward Area

Firefighters arrived on scene and forced entry into a home with a fire in the attic area. They made an offensive attack on the fire and ventilated the roof. A primary search was completed and the fire was extinguished. It appeared there was a possible electrical malfunction of wiring in the attic. Crews from Stations 19, 8, 9 and 12 responded to this incident.
