The cause was ruled as accidental by HFD Arson investigators
|

|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a 1-story home. They conducted a primary search, ventilated the roof and removed burglar bars. The fire was located in the attic and quickly brought under control. The residents were notified of the fire by passer-bys knocking on the window and safely escaped their home. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 23, 26, 36, 40, 24 and Rescue 42 responded to this incident.
