House Fire in the Fondren Gardens Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke coming from a 1-story house with a report of people possibly trapped. One adult was pulled out of the home by neighbors prior to HFD’s arrival and a juvenile was also safely outside the home. Both citizens were evaluated and transported to the hospital with moderate/minor injuries. A primary search was completed as crews worked to extinguish the fire. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 48, 2, 59, 68, 80, 82, 37, 24 and Rescue 10 responded to this incident.
