Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the side of a small 1-story home. They began an offensive attack and worked to protect a nearby exposure. Crews also cut part of a fence to access one side of the home. The fire was declared under control and a firefighter was evaluated on scene for not feeling well by EMS crews. The home owner reported that when she opened the front door there was a lot of smoke in the home with fire coming from an extension cord in the living room area. Crews from Stations 34, 58, 30, 31 and 39 responded to this incident.
