House Fire in The Clear Lake Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from the roof of a home. A fire was found in the kitchen from the vent hood and cabinet above it. Crews extinguished the fire and exposed the walls and ceiling to check for extension. The fire was tapped out and contained to the kitchen area. After firefighters worked to clear the smoke from the home, they turned the home back over to the homeowner. Firefighters from Station 71 responded to this incident.
