House Fire in The Alief Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke and fire coming from the garage of a home and made an attack on the fire. They ventilated the roof and checked for fire extension inside the home. A primary search was completed and the fire was tapped out within about 20 minutes. The fire appeared to have started with a water heater and spread to the objects in the garage and had began to enter the attic. Crews from Stations 73, 76, 23, 68, 83, 10, 75, 24 and 57 responded to this incident.
