|
Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke coming from the eaves of a home. The fire was in the attic with no fire outside or in the room below. The crews made an offensive attack on the fire and ventilated the roof. The heaviest charring appeared near a bundle of wires. The heater was not working and the occupants were using portable heaters to heat the home. A firefighter became dizzy during the incident and was evaluated on scene by EMS. Crews from HFD Stations 5, 50, 2, 4, 49, 62, 38, 57 and Village Fire Department responded to this incident.
