Unintentional - Stove left on

|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a 1-story home with the residents safely outside. Crews from Stations 21, 27, 59 and 80 responded to the incident which was declared under control within 10 minutes of HFD's arrival.
Upon investigation of the cause it was determined that the fire was accidental. A resident had turned burners to the stove on to warm the home. The resident also attempted to extinguish the fire prior to HFD's arrival.
