The cause of the fire was due to unattended outside cooking equipment and considered to be unintentional.

Details: Firefighters arrived on scene of a reported house fire with smoke showing from the rear of the house. Firefighters initiated an offensive attack and quickly extinguished the fire. Once the fire was extinguished firefighters pulled ceiling and searched the rest of the structure for possible fire extension. None was found. The fire was deemed under control and tapped out at 6:28 a.m. Red Cross was notified to assist with the displacement of the occupants. 12 HFD units responded to this incident.
