Upon arrival, firefighters found light smoke coming from a 2-story home and forced entry through the front door. A primary search was completed while crews quickly knocked the fire down which was contained to the kitchen and stairwell area. A neighbor had heard a smoke alarm sounding earlier but disregarded it. Firefighters from Stations 61, 70, 36, 26, and 93 responded to this incident.
