INJURIES:
One firefighter with non-life threatening injury, transported to the hospital.
PROPERTY SAVED:
More than $45 thousand in estimated property saved
DAMAGE:
$5,200 in estimated property damage
CAUSE:
Unintentional
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene with a fire coming from the corner of a one-story home and began an attack on the fire. The fire was extinguished in the home and attic. Firefighters worked to extinguish hotpots and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause which was caused from flammable gas from "bug bombs" ignited by a heat source in the home (i.e. pilot light) which started the fire. Crews from Stations 41, 15, 19, 34, 32, 39, 43, 45, 56, 27 and 30 responded to this incident.
