House Fire in Park Place Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with two elderly residents reported trapped inside a home. There was smoke coming from the house and crews forced entry through the front gate, began an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. All residents were safely outside the home. The fire started in the area of a cooker. After the fire was extinguished, the crews conducted salvage and overhaul. Firefighters from Stations 26, 23, 20, 29 and 36 responded to this incident.
