Firefighters arrived on scene and found smoke coming from a home. The fire was quickly extinguished and a primary search was completed with no one found. It appeared that the electrical cord on a space heater had failed and ignited a pile of clothes. Crews from Stations 31, 34, 30 and 58 responded to this incident.
