House Fire in Near Northside Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with light smoke coming from the second floor of a 2-story home. They began an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. Crews checked for extension in the attic and ventilated the home with fans. The utilities were secured and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. HPD was also notified. Firefighters from Stations 30, 19, 34, 12, 15, 39, 31, 9 and 56 responded to this incident.
