Firefighters arrived on scene and found smoke coming from an one-story home. A fire was found in the kitchen on the stove top and extinguished by the crews. Firefighters checked for extension and conducted a primary search of the home. The American Red Cross was notified to assist the homeowner and firefighters used fans to ventilate the smoke from the home. Crews from Stations 15, 6, 19, 9, 12, 30, 15 and 30 responded to this incident.
