House Fire in Near Northside Area of Houston
WHAT:
House Fire
WHEN:
August 23, 2018 at 12:46 a.m.
WHERE:
400 block of Joyce St, 77009
INJURIES:
1 civilian suffered moderate injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED:
$143,750 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE:
$66,250 in estimated damage.
CAUSE:
The cause of the fire was ruled as accidental by HFD Arson investigators.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from a corner of a one-story house. They deployed an attack line for fire control and conducted a primary search. 

One civilian was treated on scene and transported to a hospital. The residents safely escaped the home, however the injured civilian entered the home trying to help them, thinking they were still inside the home. 

Firefighters from Stations 30, 31, 9, 12, and 15 responded to this incident. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine origin and cause of the fire.
