The crew of Engine 60 arrived on scene to find no sign of fire from a one-story home. The resident informed the crew of a small fire in the kitchen and it was quickly extinguished. The firefighters checked for extension and found no signs of fire beyond the area of origin. The resident had turned the oven on not knowing items were being stored inside and they caught fire.
