WHERE:
3300 block of Kilgore St, 77021
INJURIES:
One civilian transported to the hospital.
PROPERTY SAVED:

DAMAGE:
$45 thousand in estimated damage
CAUSE:
HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental caused by a candle.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene with heavy smoke and fire coming from a one-story home. There were reports of a trapped civilian inside the home and crews began and attack and rescue efforts. A victim was found inside the home and taken out to EMS crews who administered a Cyano kit (a process of treating smoke inhalation).  The resident was transported to the hospital for further treatment. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 25, 46, 7, 33 and 24 responded to this incident.
