House Fire in Lake Houston Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with no smoke or fire showing from a home. The residents indicated they had heard fire alarms and saw smoke but did not know the source of the fire. Crews entered the home and noticed smoke. Using a thermal imaging camera, they located the fire in a room on the second floor and extinguished it. It appeared to have started from unattended lit candles. Firefighters assisted with smoke removal and discussed needs of the residents and the findings. Crews from Stations 45, 64, 43, 65 and 105 responded to this incident.
