|
Firefighters arrived on scene and found fire in the attic of a home. They began an attack on the fire and opened up the ceiling. A small fire was extinguished and an exposed wire was found resting on wooden ceiling boards. The crews removed the smoldering debris and insulation, and smoke from the home. The American Red Cross was requested to assist the residents who would be without power until an electrician could overhaul the home's wiring. Firefighters from Stations 30, 19, 34, 9, 12 and 15 responded to this incident.
