House Fire in Houston / Magnolia Park Area

Crews from Ladder 20 and Engine 20 arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a back bedroom of a one story residence. In the back bedroom , 3 mattresses were found on fire. Homeowner unsuccessfully had attempted to put out fire with a garden house. Crews contained fire to bunk beds, three mattresses were taken outside and extinguished. Crews determined the fire originated from an electrical outlet. No injuries were reported.
