Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy smoke coming from a 1-story home. They made an offensive attack on the fire and after knocking down the fire checked the attic for extension. A primary search was conducted with no one found. The home owner was on scene and said his dryer caught fire. The fire was mostly in the garage and kitchen area, extending into the attic. Crews from Stations 40, 23, 20, 26, 18, 25 and 24 responded to this incident.
