House Fire in Greater Third Ward Area

HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as incendiary
|
|
|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from a one-story home and declared a defensive attack. The structure appeared to be vacant and abandoned with no utilities. A primary and secondary search were completed. Once the main fire was knocked down, crews entered the home and extinguished hot spots. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 25, 23, 46, 7, 17, 18 and 24 responded to this incident.
