The cause was ruled as incendiary by HFD Arson Investigators

Firefighters arrived on scene to find light black smoke coming from the roof and rear of a home. The home had burglar bars on all windows and doors. Dogs were also in the backyard. Firefighters forced entry through the front door and conducted a primary search. Crews ventilated the home and the fire was controlled with crews from Stations 46, 25, 24, 7, 35, 33 and 21 responding to the incident.
