House Fire in Greater Hobby Area

The cause was ruled accidental by HFD Arson investigators.
|
|
|
Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke coming from a one-story home and found a fire in the garage. A primary search was done and crews checked for extension. The house was full of smoke but there was no fire extension past the garage. The fire was extinguished and crews used a fan for smoke removal and conducted overhaul. The American Red Cross was requested to assist the residents and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 36, 26, 52, 61, 70, 29 and 24 responded to this incident.
