Garage Apartment Fire in Greater Heights Area

HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental.
|

|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the second floor of a 2-story detached garage. They began an attack on the fire and conducted a search of the apartment garage. The fire was nocked down and was contained to the kitchen/attic area of the apartment. The owner advised they had just had the power turned back on to the apartment. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 11, 15, 16, 19, 31, 6, 9 and 62 responded to this incident.
