Firefighters found a smoldering fire on a balcony near where a barbeque pit had been used the night before. The home owner smelled the smoke and attempted to extinguish the fire while calling 911. Firefighters pulled ceiling in the garage and cut into the patio floor to check for extension of the fire. A smoldering fire was found and it was quickly extinguished. Crews from Stations 6, 15, and 31 responded to this incident.
