Firefighters arrived on scene and located a fire in a back bedroom closet where a mini frig was located. They extinguished the fire and found that the refrigerator was plugged into a portable electrical box that had been overloaded with an A/C window unit on the same circuit. The resident stated the circuit was popping when the A/C was on and woke to the smell of plastic burning. Crews from Stations 15, 8, 19, 9, 17, 19, 27, 18 and 30 responded to this incident.
