House Fire in Greater Fifth Ward Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from several sides of a home. A truck in the front yard was also on fire. They made a fast attack and conducted a search. One civilian suffered from possible minor smoke inhalation and was transported to the hospital. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. A nearby home was also exposed to the fire. Crews from Stations 12 and 19 responded to this incident.
