House Fire in Greater Fifth Ward Area

HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental.
|
|
|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find a one-story house fully involved with fire. The resident had exited the home prior to HFDs arrival and was treated and transported to the hospital. The crews extinguished the fire and requested Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin of the fire. The resident said she had been using candles for light and warmth due to no utilities. Crews from Stations 17, 15, 8, 19, 9, 12, 27, 6 and 30 responded to this incident.
