House Fire in Golfcrest / Bellfort / Reveille Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a small building behind a primary residence. They forced entry and located a fire in the bathroom. After the fire was extinguished they ventilated the structure. The fire appeared to have started near or in a trash can and burned down through the floor then up the wall and into the ceiling. It was possible that a discharged cigarette in the trash can may have started the fire. Crews from Stations 36, 23, 29 and 26 responded to this incident.
