House Fire in Eastex - Jensen Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke and fire coming from the front window of a one-story home. They began an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. The fire was controlled and the area of origin appeared to be from a space heater and bed coverings. The fire was contained to the bedroom with smoke damage throughout the home. The resident was given information on how to contact the American Red Cross for assistance. Crews from Stations 34, 15, 19, 30, 39, 43 and 56 responded to this incident.
