Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a one-story house. They began an attack on the fire and primary search of the home. The fire was on the outside of the home. A heater had been set up next to the home for a pet and the heater caught the exterior of the house on fire. The fire extended up the wall and into the attic of the home. Firefighters performed overhaul and pulled ceiling and removed part of the roof, shutting off the utilities. Crews from Stations 19, 34, 12, 39 and 30 responded to this incident.
