House Fire in East Houston

Fire damage contained to room of origin, smoke damage throughout home.

The cause was ruled as incendiary by HFD Arson investigators.
|
|
Firefighters arrived on scene with light smoke coming from the front door of a one-story home. They located a fire in a bedroom which was contained to a bed and quickly extinguished the fire with a pump can. Although the fire damage was contained to the area of origin, there was smoke damage to the entire home. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause due to a window in the rear of the home being broken into prior to HFDs arrival. Crews from Stations 32 and 45 responded to this incident.
