House Fire in East Houston Area

Firefighters arrived on scene with heavy fire coming from the garage and windows of a 1-story brick house. They forced opened locked burglar bars over the front door and reset the fire before making entry. Firefighters conducted a primary search and pulled ceiling to extinguish fire extending into the attic. EMS crews treated a burned patient in police custody and transported the individual to the hospital with a HPD escort. Crews from Stations 32, 15, 34, 45, 32, 43, 56, 30 and Rescue 42 responded to this incident.
